1. 2011-2012 DATES:
- January : 6, 13, 20, 27
- February: 10, 17, 24
- March: 9, 16, 23,30
- April: 13, 20, 27 (Good Friday is April 6)
- May: 4, 11; End-of-year celebration is on Sat., May 12 (Mother's Day weekend)
2. FLU:
As always, parents should refrain from bringing children with ANY of the following typical cold / flu symptoms:
Fever: The CDC recommends that people with influenza-like illness remain home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever (100° F) or signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medications.
Cough: productive or persistent
Diarrhea, vomiting, rash, lethargy, or legitimate complaints of feeling ill.
3. INCLEMENT WEATHER:
In icy and snowy weather, ACE will follow the delays and cancellations for Waynesboro City Schools. If they meet one hour late, co-op will open on schedule. If they meet two hours late, co-op will start at 10:00, and first period will be skipped.
Remember, if you are not comfortable traveling that day, no worries! Please do not feel obligated to bring your family out.
However, call Teacher/Parent Liaison to let her know you are not coming, and please try to find coverage for your responsibilities. While it may not be possible to get complete coverage on short notice, do try your best so that there will be less scrambling to cover positions once co-op has started for the day.
